What's your favorite part about working at Pathfinder?
Visiting Pathfinder's projects and meeting the beneficiaries of our work is one of the most exciting aspects of my job. It is very moving to meet individuals whose lives have been changed by the work that Pathfinder does around the world.
What's one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
That I have actually run family planning clinics in the US and managed large international health programs abroad.
Was there a moment when the importance of Pathfinder's work really hit home for you?
Every time I visit Pathfinder's projects, I meet people who inspire me. On a recent trip to Kenya, I met a number of people who were infected with HIV and through support from Pathfinder staff, had been able to give birth to children free from HIV. Talking with them and hearing how their despair has turned to joy was extremely powerful.
