Here, project staff lead community members in a discussion about a wide-array of health practices, Including nutrition, malaria prevention, and family planning.

Pathfinder’s five-year, USAID-funded program, the Integrated Health Project (IHP-B), brings together the successes of previous Pathfinder-led maternal and child health, and performance-based financing projects, and a large HIV care and treatment project.

IHP-B is funded by USAID and led by FHI360. Pathfinder leads the contraception, gender-based violence, and maternal and child health activities, as well as aspects of performance-based financing and capacity building of local organizations. The project works to increase both the adoption of positive behaviors at the individual and household levels, and the use of quality integrated health and support services.

Through this project, Pathfinder has seen remarkable progress. We've reached more than 300 people with post-rape and post-gender-based-violence care. We've distributed more than 116,000 contraceptive pills and nearly 200,000 condomsOne hundred and fifteen people have been trained in maternal and newborn health, and 200 community health workers have been trained in community case management of malaria.
