Iniciativa: Strengthening the Capacity of Youth Civil Society in Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights

Youth Civil Society

Through Iniciativa, Pathfinder has empowered five youth organizations to become strong advocates for adolescent and youth sexual and reproductive health and rights in Mozambique.

The five organizations—LUARTE, Kutenga, Nova Vida, AREPACHO, and Kupulumussana—were all part of an innovative mentorship process that emphasized partnership, self-assessment, organizational ownership, continuous learning, and applied skills building.

Throughout the program, the CSOs led AYSRHR advocacy activities with district, provincial, and national governments and implemented demand-generation activities in their communities.
